Miguel Paul scored 22 points and dished out 10 assists for a double-double on senior night as East Carolina defeated Marshall 86-79 Saturday night.
The Pirates will next play in the Conference USA tournament on Thursday. The win gave ECU a winning mark in the league for the first time ever.
Fellow senior Maurice Kemp chipped in 21 points for the Pirates. Akeem Richmond scored 18 points and Robert Sampson hauled in a dozen rebounds in the ECU victory.
