Power outage at Southwest High School sends students home early

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. -

A power outage will send some Onslow County students home early Tuesday.

School officials say students at Southwest High School will be dismissed at 10:45 a.m.

The day will count as a half day so students won't have to make it up.

The school system says that parents were notified via the district's messenger service.
