They're accused of assaulting a 14-year-old girl in the middle of a classroom.
Police charged 16 year olds Kiera Floyd and Sheena George with simple assault and disruptive behavior in a school.
It all happened Friday at Havelock High School.
This fight is still under investigation, but a city spokesperson tells us the two girls actually walked into a classroom while class was in session and started beating on the 14-year old girl in front of teachers and students.
By the time police got to the school, a spokesperson says the teachers had already broken the fight up. They said the teens indicated the fight was a carry over from other incidents between the three girls.
9 On Your Side talked with parents at the school who were just finding out about this today.
"I think it starts at home. How you raise your kids and how they respect people. Times are different than from what I grew up in. The kids are much different today than when I was younger," said Ron Alger, parent.
The principal of the school was out here earlier today. He would not comment on the investigation, but said the school takes incidents like this involving students very seriously.
