A convicted felon is back in jail after fighting over a weapon.
It happened at a home on Cherry Run Road in Washington on February 2020th. Deputies arrested 55-year-old James Cox. Investigators say he and another person were fighting over a sawed-off shotgun. Deputies say they found it in the woods when they responded to a call about shots being fired in that area.
Deputies charged Cox with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction.
