
Thursday morning North Carolina's Eastern Region held their ‘State of the Region' conference at the Greenville Hilton. Local business leaders, educators, developers, and elected officials networked during the conference to explore how to improve the region's economy.
Speakers at the conference ranged from local school superintendents to Governor Pat McCrory's senior advisor on jobs and the economy.
North Carolina's Eastern Region is the economic development agency for a 13-county region (Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Edgecombe, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Nash, Onslow, Pamlico, Pitt, Wayne, and Wilson).
