Two arrested for Simpson Hess station armed robbery - WNCT | 9 On Your Side Greenville NC & Eastern NC News

Two people are behind bars after deputies say they robbed a Hess gas station Saturday morning.

Pitt County Sheriff's Deputies say Miranda Brock and Jonathan Paul Nichols approached the clerk of the Hess station on Highway 33 in Simpson just before 9:30 a.m.

Investigators say one of the suspects had a gun.

The clerk handed over the deposit bag and the suspects took off in their car.

They were arrested late Saturday afternoon.

Brock is under a $50,000 bond, Nichols is under a $75,000 bond.
