WILMINGTON, N.C. -
Booze it and Lose it yields 20 DWI arrests in Wilmington.
Officer Mark Anderson of the Wilmington Police Traffic Unit says a Saturday night and Sunday morning checkpoint also helped officers seize a handgun, marijuana and more than $10,000 in cash.
A car also had to be towed from the middle of the road after its occupants saw the checkpoint, got out of the car and ran away.
