Paws were pounding the pavement Sunday after dozens of dogs hit the streets for the 13th Annual Canine Crawl.
The event featured a 5k run, 1 mile walk for dogs and costume contest. Since it fell on St. Patrick's day, many of the dogs came dressed to impress in their green costumes.
Vice President of the Humane Society, Will Moore, said this is their largest fundraiser of the year.
"Every dollar counts. Everyone has the opportunity to donate, and we really hope that those who have animals make sure they come out and support the Humane Society in any way volunteering, donating, as well as coming out to fun events like this," said Moore.
Moore says the goal for this year's Canine Crawl is to raise $20,000.
