WASHINGTON, N.C. -
A Pitt County teen is charged with taking indecent liberties with a child.
Deputies arrested 16-year-old Joseph Keyes III on Friday.
Investigators tell 9 On Your Side the incident was reported on January 7. The alleged incident occurred in the Rivercreek Mobile Home Park in Washington in Pitt County. The victim in this case is a female under the age of 13 and not related to Keyes.
Keyes is still in jail under a $15,000 bond.
