NC voting bill to include other forms of ID

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A looming bill in North Carolina that would require voters to present ID's at the polls will have some flexibility if passed.

House Speaker Thom Tillis says expired drivers licenses for certain people and college-issued ID's will be acceptable forms of ID.

The House has not passed a bill yet, but is expected to.

Tillis says the main reason the state legislature is pushing this law is not because of voter fraud, but to restore voter's confidence in government.
