People in the east looking for a job are in luck. There are job fairs at East Carolina University and Lenoir Community College Wednesday.
ECU's Spring Career Fair is the largest education career fair in our state, and this spring it's even bigger. 180 employers are expected to pack Minges Coliseum to meet with students.
School officials say that's a 31 percent increase in recruiting and employer participation from the fall 2012 career fair. The event is open to current ECU students and alumni. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At Lenoir Community College, 115 employers are expected at their job fair. The school hopes to have more than 1,000 job seekers in attendance. That fair runs from 9 a.m. to noon.
