It's not too late to let the N.C Department of Transportation know what you think about plans to improve Interstate 95 in North Carolina.
NCDOT is encouraging residents throughout the state to take a quick survey about the interstate, plans to improve the road and ways to pay for the project. In legislation that went into effect on July 1, 2012, the NC General Assembly directed NCDOT to conduct an economic assessment of funding options to improve I-95. As part of the assessment, NCDOT is conducting surveys for residents in North Carolina.
The survey is available at here and responses will be accepted through March 22.
The economic assessment examines what the economic impacts would be to expand and upgrade the interstate. It also examines the economic impacts of not making any significant improvements aside from what can be done with existing funding.
Individual responses to the survey will be kept confidential.
