VANCEBORO, N.C. -
Firefighters battled a mobile home fire Friday afternoon.
It happened on Candy Lane, off Piney Neck Road. That's just west of Vanceboro.
Stanley Kite, Craven County Emergency Services Director tells 9 On Your Side the fire started around 3 p.m. Friday and was fully involved.
Vanceboro and Little Swift Creek Fire Departments both responded to the blaze.
It's too soon to tell who made the 911 call, if anyone was inside when the fire broke out, or what caused the fire.
