
Detectives with the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force have taken into custody the final suspect wanted in connection with multiple robberies in the Fayetteville area, authorities said Friday.
Levon Jerod Lee was arrested March 22 around 1:30 p.m. at the Cottonade Square Guest Inn on Yadkin Road. Lee was wanted for multiple charges in connection with nine robberies. Bond information is not currently available for Lee.
Lee is charged with nine counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, nine counts of conspiracy, five counts of second-degree kidnapping, one count of possession of stolen goods and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
The fifth suspect in connection with the robberies, Xavier Cade, is in custody in Catawba County on unrelated charges. Cade is currently awaiting extradition to Cumberland County.
