One home is destroyed and dozens more are in danger after a massive landslide in Washington State.
People who live on Whidbey Island say they heard a sound like thunder before the landslide Wednesday morning.
One house was knocked off its foundation and 33 others were evacuated.
State authorities don't know what caused the slide but say the area is prone to them.
According to the Associated Press, geologists have checked the area and fire and rescue officials say residents can return home.
