GREENVILLE, N.C. -

Greenville police responded to a loud music call early Sunday morning that led them to discovering a possible illegal ‘shot house' and gaming operation.

While responding to 1102 Jones Street, police found 20 people cleaning up solo cups in the front yard of the home. That led police to search the home where they found a poker machine in a bedroom along with items that indicated the house was operating as an illegal liquor house. They seized the machine with $269 in cash.

Cynthia Powell was arrested and charged with operating a video gaming machine, selling alcohol without a permit, and possession of marijuana.
