TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

At the height of the much publicized trial between Bay area radio personalities Todd "M-J" Schnitt and "Bubba the Love Sponge" Clem in January.

Schnitt's attorney, Phil Campbell found himself on the other side of the law, after being stopped for suspicion of D-U-I.

The officer who stopped Campbell can be heard saying, "the reason why i am here is because obviously of the odor coming from you, so that raises our concerns and that's why we have to do this."

Tampa police dash cam video taken during the traffic stop, shows an officer questioning Campbell, who told the officer he takes medication that could affect the field sobriety test.

In the video Campbell can be head saying. "I am just saying I am wobbly, then the officer says "okay so it affects your walking and standing, "oh yeah" responds Campbell.

Campbell had been at downtown Tampa restaurant that January night, not knowing he was sharing drinks with a staffer from "Bubba's" legal team.

He offered to move her car and that's when he was stopped on the street.

In the video Campbell says, "I was trying to help somebody out.

But the officer says, "okay, sir letting you know your refusal to do the exercises will be used against you in a court of law, do you understand that sir."

"Bubba's" executive producer obtained the video from Tampa police thru Florida's "Sunshine law".

Brent Hatley said, "just as a regular citizen I went with the case number and Tampa P-D complied with the law the clerk for T-P-D gave it to us so I just thought it was no big deal they complied with the law so it is no big deal to me."

Campbell was arrested and taken into custody.

Campbell's attorney, John Fitizgibbbons issued a written statement saying. "he will eventually have plenty to say about what he calls, the three-hour stake-out and set-up arrest of Phil Campbell by Tampa police..

Campbell has yet to go to trial on the D-U-I charge.
