CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Chapel Hill community and local law enforcement are teaming up to stop recent acts of vandalism and graffiti. 

According to UNC Public Safety, the graffiti, painted in bright pink, has caused significant damage to numerous locations.   

These locations include New East and McIver Residence Halls, campus monuments and landmarks, vehicles and buildings in the vicinity of the Swain lot parking area on northwestern campus, and the Chapel of the Cross on Franklin Street.

UNC Public Safety is asking anyone with information which may aid in these investigations to please call either UNC Police Investigators at (919) 966-2120, call the Chapel Hill Police at (919) 968-2760, or contact the Chapel Hill-Carrboro-UNC CrimeStoppers at (919) 942-7515.  Calls are confidential and anonymous. You can also submit information to CrimeStoppers online.
