Police have released the name of the driver involved in a fatal accident in Greenville Monday afternoon.
It happened on Arlington Blvd near Red Banks Road. Police closed the Arlington between Red Banks and Hyde Drive for about two hours.
Police say James Trice, Jr., of New Bern, was driving an SUV that crossed the center lane. The vehicle then ran off the road near a State Farm Insurance office and hit a utility pole, which came crashing down on Trice's hood.
Trice was pronounced dead at Vidant Medical Center.
Police are still investigating the cause of that accident.
Authorities are expected to release the results of autopsies on the two bodies recovered from the fiery crash that killed "Fast & Furious" actor Paul Walker and his friend.
"Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker was killed by injuries from both the impact and subsequent fire when the Porsche his friend was driving smashed into a light pole and tree, according to an autopsy released Wednesday.
