A Goldsboro man was arrested Friday and is now facing charges related to
the possession and distribution of chemicals used in the manufacture of
Christopher Michael Bean, 34, of Goldsboro, is charged with 10 counts of possession/distribution of precursor chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine.
Bean was arrested as part of an investigation into the manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine in the Goldsboro and Wayne County area. Officials believe Bean was purchasing and distributing pseudoephedrine to be used in the manufacture of meth.
Bean is currently being held in Wayne County Jail under a $500,000 secured bond. Officials expect more arrests as a result of the investigation.
