2 arrested in connection to Fayetteville robberies

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Fayetteville police arrested  two men in relation to a couple of shootings that occurred early April 5 that left two men dead.

Police responded to the 5400 block of S. Sumac Circle at approximately 5:45 a.m. to investigate a dead unidentified male near the shoulder of the road. When officers arrived, they determined the man had sustained a gunshot wound.

Fayetteville police identified the victim as 20-year-old Xavier White.

Police are also looking into a shooting that took place on Martha Court at approximately 3:45 a.m. Officers arrived on scene and found a male subject suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, Dominik Lavon Council, 25, was later pronounced dead. 

Fayetteville police say two additional suspects have been arrested in connection with these shootings. 

Lamyer Gorminie Campbell, 24, and Derek Rashaun Hair, 24, were charged with first degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit first degree burglary and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
