Fayetteville man killed in collision Sunday night

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

One man is dead and one woman has been charged in his death for an accident that occurred Sunday night on the 600 block of Reilly Road in Fayetteville.

Police responded to a traffic accident at approximately 9:12 p.m. Sunday and arrived on the scene to find a collision between a 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle and a 2004 Chrysler Concorde.

The driver of the motorcycle was 26-year-old Brian Baldwin. He was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with serious injuries. He later died as a result of those injuries. The driver of the Chrysler, 53-year-old Rosalina Dobbins, was charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.

The incident remains under investigation.
