RALEIGH, N.C. -

Gov. Pat MccCory made another policy announcement this morning, this time on transportation in North Carolina.

It's McCrory's third policy announcement in as many weeks.

The new governor put on a news conference in Raleigh on to discuss Transportation Secretary Tony Tata developing a 25-year infrastructure plan for the state.

Tata also has said he wants to make job creation a greater portion of the formula his staff uses in determining which road projects get built.

McCrory has already announced his administration will seek to move the management of Medicaid. He also wants to shift most of the economic development and tourism responsibilities to a nonprofit corporation.
