GREENVILLE, N.C. -

A female East Carolina University student says she was robbed at knife-point while in her car and forced to drive the robber down the road.

The report comes from an ECU Crime Alert sent out Saturday.  In the alert, police say it happened around 6 p.m.  That's when the female student says she was robbed while stopped in her vehicle at Charles and Greenville Boulevard.

She says a female suspect got into her vehicle, told her to keep driving and demanded money. The suspect got out of the vehicle near 10th Street and Charles Boulevard then fled on foot towards Krispy Kreme.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Greenville Police.
