OAK ISLAND, NC -
The troubled Brunswick County teen mom has been hit with new problems -- this time serious drug charges.

In the past, Jenelle Evans, who is on Teen Mom 2 on MTV, has been charged with marijuana possession.

But, Tuesday the 21-year-old was charged with possessing 12 bindles of heroin, various media outlets reported.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ police found the heroin when they came to her home to respond to an alleged domestic dispute with her husband, Courtland Rogers.

The police also found Evans had the powerful painkiller Percocet illegally, along with some various drug paraphernalia, court documents reveal.

The drug charge comes at a time when her drug problems just surfaced on the show on Monday when her former boyfriend said he was buying her "pills."

The event that precipitated the drug charge was when  Evans struck Rogers with a piece of furniture, police said.

Rogers was also arrested for "hitting her on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head," according to court documents from TMZ.

Evans was also served with a warrant for failing to pay child support.

She was arrested in June 2012 and charged with simple assault and other drug charges.

Evans also was charged in January 2012 and was charged with harassing phone calls and communicating threats. She had been arrested in March 2011 after she was recorded on video fighting.
