GREENVILLE, N.C. -

Police need the public's help to identify the suspect in an armed robbery and kidnapping.

It happened Saturday at Charles Blvd near Greenville Blvd.

Officers said the victim in the incident contacted them from where she worked.

She said she was waiting near the intersection when a female suspect, allegedly, got in the car armed with a knife, threatened her, forced her to drive to the McDonald's at Cotanche and E. Tenth Street, and robbed her of $17 before fleeing from the car.

The suspect then went into McDonald's and ordered food.

The victim stated to officers that she was so afraid, she didn't know what to do. She went to work, told her employer about the incident and they then called the police.

Surveillance video from the McDonald's restaurant, shows the suspect, a black female in a white t-shirt, entering the restaurant and ordering a meal. She's believed to have a small "butterfly" tattoo on her right hand.

Call the Greenville Police Department at 252-329-4315 if you can identify the suspect.
