Stabbing Victim Walks Into OSU East Emergency Room, Dies

COLUMBUS, Ohio -

A man died Monday night after walking into Ohio State University East Hospital with an apparent stab wound to his chest.

According to Columbus police, Anthony M. St. Clair, 22, drove to the hospital located at 1492 East Broad Street at about 10:09 p.m. Monday.

St. Clair parked his car outside the doors and walked into the Emergency Room. He collapsed and hospital staff performed chest compressions before police could speak with him, according to detectives.

St. Clair was pronounced dead at 10:51 p.m.

Detectives do not know where the stabbing happened, and there are no suspects at this time.
