Greenville teen charged after shots fired investigation

GREENVILLE, N.C. -

Police have a teen in custody for assault with a deadly weapon.

18-year-old Travis "Pig" Roberson of Greenville was charged with 2 counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle.

His arrest follows an investigation into a report of shots fired near the intersection of West Roundtree Drive and Cox Street on Tuesday afternoon.

It's believed the incident is part of a long running dispute between gang members.

Officers said Roberson has prior arrests for Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, Felony Larceny,  Possession of a stolen motor vehicle, Carrying a concealed weapon, and Possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.

He was jailed under a  $300,000 secured bond.
