RECALL: Toro riding mower

Posted: Updated:

Turf and landscape equipment company Toro is recalling more than 3,000 riding mowers due to fire hazard.

The recall involves 2012 and 2013 Toro Z Master Commercial 2000 series ZRT or Zero Turn riding mowers. A fire could result from the idler pulley rubbing against the mower's fuel tank.

The company has received six reports of incidents with no injuries. Toro has contacted registered owners about the problem.

If you have a Toro mower and the company has reached out to you, you can call toll-free at (855) 493-0090, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT Monday through Friday.

You can go online at www.toro.com and click on Product Recall Information on the bottom right-hand side of the page for more information.
