Posted: Updated:
WAKE FOREST, N.C. -

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will meet with some Wake forest homeowners tonight to discuss the next steps the agency will take in dealing with contaminated well water.

A WNCN investigation revealed the state knew about the chemical TCE in private wells in Wake Forest, but didn't tell anyone because they said they did not have the resources.

The EPA has connected 22 homes to water from another community.

During Tuesday night's meeting, the EPA will answer any remaining questions about the toxic water investigation. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and runs through 8 p.m. at the Stony Hill Fire Department at 7045 Stony Hill Road.
