RALEIGH, N.C. -

With a Rice win over Oregon Monday night, N.C. State will host its first super regional Friday and Saturday.

The Wolfpack (47-14) will welcome the Owls (44-18) to Doak Field Friday for the first game in a best-of-three series.

The series begins Friday at 4 p.m. and will continue Saturday at 4 p.m. If needed, a third game will be played Sunday at 4 p.m. The winners of the super regional will advance to the College World Series in Omaha, beginning June 15.

The Pack advanced to the super regionals with its 9-2 win over William & Mary on Sunday. Rice will make its way to Raleigh after topping Oregon 11-4 Monday night.

Tickets for the Raleigh Super Regional will go on sale to Wolfpack Club members and season ticket holders through 5 p.m. on Tuesday. At 5:01 p.m., ticket sales will open up to the general public.

N.C. State is seeking its first trip to Omaha since 1968.
