WILLIAMSTON, N.C. -

Two men are accused of stealing nearly $2,000 in cash from coin operated video gaming machines.

Deputies said Tuesday 19-year-old Dequan Akil Swain and 19-year-old Shakur Deshawn Hedgebeth were arrested Monday after returning to the scene of the crime.

Last Monday, the Martin County Sheriff's Office received a report about the breaking and entering of the machines at the Jamesville Mini-Mart. The victim told deputies that $1,500.00-$2,000.00 cash was missing from one of his gaming machines.  And the entire incident was captured on the store's video surveillance.

A week later, the victim spotted the pair return to the store, contacted deputies and confronted the suspects.

Investigators processed the scene and transported the suspects to the Martin County Sheriff's Office for processing. Each of the men were charged with Felony Breaking or Entering of a Coin Operated Machine, Felony Larceny, and Conspiracy to Commit Breaking or Entering of a Coin Operated Machine. They were each placed under $75,000 secured bonds.

Two other men, 24-year-old Lejeanne Yvonne Jones and 25-year-old Andrew Lavar Epps, were charged with Resist, Obstruct or Delay an Officer and released on citation.
