Men arrested for breaking into New Bern store twice in one week

Posted: Updated:
NEW BERN, N.C. -

Police arrested two men for trying to break in to a New Bern gas station.

They said it's the same gas station they broke into earlier this week.

The owner of the WC Market on MLK Boulevard spotted two men trying to break the glass of his store, so he called police.

Officers arrested 21-year-old Jonathan Burton and 19-year-old Oscar Mederos. They then connected those two with a Monday break-in at the same store.

Both men are in the Craven County Jail.
