Raleigh man arrested for 2 shooting incidents

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Raleigh police arrested a man for two separate shooting incidents, injuring four people.

Jereme Eugene Mackey, 24, was arrested June 25 after he discharged his weapon into two occupied apartments on Melvid Court in Raleigh, police said. Mackey was charged with two counts of discharging a weapon in occupied property and possession of a firearm by a felon. 

Tylis Haskin and Ry'Ahna Wilson suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident. 

Raleigh police said Mackey was also involved in an shooting that injured Deena Newton and Ronald Clements on June 26. 

Mackey was also charged with selling heroin on May 9, 2012, police said. He was sentenced to 11-23 months probation. 

Mackey is being held at the Wake County Jail under $1.5 million bond.
