Durham police say 19-year-old killed in fatal shooting

DURHAM, N.C. -

Durham police say a 19-year-oldwas killed in Thursday night's fatal shooting on Dearborn Drive in Durham.

Police said, officers responded to a shooting call at 8 p.m. at Lakeview Park in the 3500 block of Dearborn Drive. Upon arrival, Durham police said officers found a male who had been shot. On Friday, the victim was identified as Takoreio Jackson, 19, of Durham.

Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Police are trying to identify and locate a dark-colored SUV seen leaving the area after the shooting. No arrests have been made in the case.
