Three adults busted with meth and a child in a car

TRENTON, N.C. -

A child is safe after state troopers stopped a car on Old New Bern School Rd. in Trenton for a seatbelt violation but found drugs inside.

Child protective services returned the child to a relative's care after Jones County Narcotics Investigators found evidence in the car of drug activity.

Deputies took the three Pink Hill adults the Jones County Jail.

Virginia Lee Stancil, 32, Lisa Stancil, 52, and Brandon Quinn, 24, are charged with felony possession of meth. Details on charges are listed below.

Viginia Stancil is also charged with misdemeanor child abuse.

Additional charges may follow as the investigation continues.

  • Brandon Shelton Quinn charged with: Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia(M). Bond: $10,000.00 Secured
