Posted: Updated:

Deputies with the Pamlico County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman Sunday who had a small child and drugs in her car.

On June 28, 2013 deputies received an anonymous tip about a female in a white car possibly using narcotics with children in the vehicle. When investigators located the car they pulled Brittany Ann Lee, 25, over after they observed a small child jumping around in the back seat while the car was moving.

Lee admitted there were used hypodermic needles in the vehicle, which were seized along with a small quantity of narcotics. Investigators from Child Protective services were also called.

Lee is charged with Simple Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Child Endangerment and is held on a $7,500.00 secured bond.
