Beaufort County men arrested after trying to flee police

Two Beaufort County men are under arrest after trying to run from police with drugs in their car.

On June 28, 2013 deputies arrested Frederick Dominick Carter, 36, of Edward and Kasey Demon Bragg, 35, of Aurora. Their arrests stemmed from investigators conducting controlled purchases of cocaine from Carter. When investigators followed their vehicle into a driveway and attempted to serve arrest warrants on Carter, Bragg attempted to elude police by driving his car into a separate vehicle being driven by a Sheriff's deputy.

Both Kasey and Bragg were taken into custody, and investigators found cocaine and crack-cocaine smoking materials in their car. As a result, Fredrick Carter was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine. Kasey Bragg was arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resist, Delay Obstruct a Public Officer, Injury to Personal Property and Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Kasey Bragg was confined under a $25,000 secured bond. Fredrick Carter was confined under a $8,500 secured bond.
