Deputies find and arrest LaGrange breaking and entering suspect

The Lenoir County Sheriff's Office has arrested a suspect in a LaGrange breaking and entering.

Deputies located 23-year-old Anthony Dawson early Saturday morning. Deputies say Dawson was hiding behind a door when they found him.

Dawson is faces charges of breaking and entering among other charges. He is being held in the Lenoir County Detention Center under a $75,000 bond.

The Lenoir County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a breaking and entering suspect.

The Sheriff's Office says someone stopped a deputy after seeing two males breaking into a home in LaGrange. The deputy found the two suspects running down the street. The deputy was able to arrest 19-year-old Thomas Mason, but the other suspect, 23-year-old, Anthony Dawson, was able to get away.

Deputies say Dawson is known to frequent LaGrange and Goldsboro. Deputies say if you have any information on the location of Dawson, call the Sheriff's Office at (252) 559-6118 or you can leave an anonymous email tip through the Lenoir County website.

Mason was arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering and felony possession of burglary tools, with more charges pending. Mason is being held at the Lenoir County Sheriff's Detention Center under a $25,000 bond
