CORPUS CHRISTI, T.X. -

A blast rocked the studios of a local TV station in Texas when a nearby home exploded Friday.

Members of the morning news team at KIII were saying good morning to their viewers when the explosion disrupted the newscast.

The blast could be felt all over town.

Corpus Christi firefighters responded to the explosion and found one victim in the house's backyard.

Medics rushed two people to the hospital with critical injuries.

The American Red Cross says the blast destroyed three homes, damaged 15 others and blew out windows in dozens of other homes and apartments.

Investigators still aren't sure what caused the blast.
