It could be the most non-eventful event of the year...SEC Media Days.
1,200 reporters and hundreds of fans clamor in the lobby just an escalator ride away from their favorite players and coaches who are speaking with the media.

For SEC fans, media days are a sign the football season is just around the corner. The fans show up for different reasons.
"I would really love to see Johnny Manziel of course, but also Coach Sumlin," Texas A&M fan Whitney Wells said.
"I collect autographs, that's why I come," James Pellem said.
SEC fans are a completely different breed. It's a Thursday morning, so you can bet some vacation days are being burned.
"I took off three days, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday," Pellem said.
Alabama fans ruled the day, even making a young Florida fan a bit nervous.
"I don't tell anybody [that I'm a Florida fan]," Nate Justice, 9, said. "I don't tell anybody because they're going to get mad maybe"
