VIDEO: Deputies pull man from car just before it bursts into flames

Posted: Updated:
ORANGE COUNTY, C.A. -

Here's some eye-opening video of a dramatic rescue in Orange County, California as sheriff's deputies pulled a man from his burning car just moments before it exploded into flames.

It's all caught on police dash cam.  You can see through the smoke deputies walk up to a burning taxi with guns drawn.  They say they weren't sure if the driver was trying to escape.

However, they make a split-second decision to pull him out and drag him across the street just before the car goes up in flames.

Authorities say the 49-yr.-old driver suffered a medical emergency, causing him to crash.  They believe the victim would not have made it if deputies arrived a few seconds later.
