Update: Two arrested for the weekend shooting in Greenville

GREENVILLE, N.C. -

Greenville police arrested two people in connection with a shooting from this past weekend.

Karyon Monk, 21, is charged with with one count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill, Inflicting Serious Injury.

He is in custody at the Pitt County Detention Center under a $200, 000 secured bond.

Police also arrested Tiera Blow, 23, and charged her with one count of Accessory after the Fact to a Felony.

Officials at Vidant Medical Center tell us Shelton Arrington is in serious condition after being shot several times on Saturday.

Police say they are continuing to investigate several leads in this shooting.

Police are investigating a shooting Saturday that left a 21-year-old victim shot multiple times.

It happened around 5:45 p.m. at Kennedy Circle off Bradley Street.  That's where police say 21-year-old Shelton Arrington was shot multiple times in the body and legs.

Witness says two groups of people in two cars at the intersection got into a dispute, including  Arrington.   Investigators believe Arrington got out of the car and shots were fired shortly after.

Arrington's condition is currently unavailable.

Major crimes and forensics are processing the scene and doing interviews.  Police have developed leads and the investigation is ongoing.
