New landmark dedicated on the Outer Banks

A new historic landmark comes to the Outer Banks.

It's called the National Park Service's Underground Railroad Network to Freedom and it was dedicated Wednesday.

The monument's at the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum in Hatteras and it includes the "Hotel de Afrique."

The site is considered the first safe haven for runaway slaves in North Carolina.
