Marine finishes 5K race with boy who asked for his help

CHARLEVOIX, M.I. -

A 19-yr.-old marine is now an internet sensation after lending a helping hand to a young runner.

In a photo, you can see LCpl Myles Kerr and 9-yr.-old Brandon Fuchs in a 5-k in Michigan Thursday.  Apparently Fuchs got separated from his fellow runners and asked Kerr if he could run alongside the marine.  Kerr agreed and the two crossed the finish line around the 35-minute mark.

A photo of the two was posted on the Seal of Honor Facebook page and it has already received more than 200,000 "likes."

Kerr says he appreciates all the nice comments people have left, but says he was quote, "just doing what any man would do."
