Car crashes into Greenville Ulta store

GREENVILLE, N.C. -

A car crashed into a Greenville Ulta beauty store Thursday afternoon.

It happened about 1 p.m. in the Lynnhaven shopping center near Greenville Boulevard and Evans Street.

Police said the driver of the Chrysler 200 was trying to park in a handicapped spot when she hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.

An employee was injured in the crash when was pinned between two counters. She was taken to Vidant Medical Center as a precaution.

Police said the driver wasn't injured.

The crash is still under investigation. It's unclear if the driver will face charges.
