WASHINGTON, N.C. -

A Washington man has been arrested and charged with stealing tools and copper from a local business.

On August 6, 2013 the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of a breaking and entering and larceny at F. Ray Moore Oil Company in Washington. Deputies discovered someone broke into a vehicle and utility trailer within the fenced in area behind the business and took tools and copper.

Investigators began an investigation, collected evidence, and conducted interviews. As a result of the information and evidence gathered, warrants were filed charging Antonio Holley, 48, of Washington with two counts of Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle, two counts of Felony Larceny, and one count of Obtaining Property by False Pretense.

On August 12, 2013, Holley was arrested for these charges and an outstanding Child Support Order for Arrest. He was held on a $10,000.00 secured bond for the criminal charges. Some of the stolen copper was recovered at an area recycling business and returned to the victim.
