Windsor Police Investigating Food Store Armed Robbery

WINDSOR, N.C. -

Windsor police need your help finding a man who robbed the Punjab Food Store.

It happened around 9:50 on August 9th, just before closing.

Lt. Ricky Morris with the Windsor police department says a masked man wearing all camouflage walked into the store with a small handgun and football gloves and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6' to 6'2'' in height, weighing approximately 170 to 190 with short hair.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken. No one was hurt.

Police say the man left the area on foot and may have been picked up or driving a car nearby.

If anyone has information about the suspect or anything they may have noticed in the area the night in question they can contact Windsor Police Department at (252)794-3111. As always, no name is needed when giving information.
