Asheville police suspect drug use in limo wreck

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -

Police say they suspect a limousine driver was impaired by drugs when he crashed in Asheville last month, killing a Philadelphia couple he has taking to the airport.
    
According to a report obtained by the Citizen-Times of Asheville, the driver was tested for drugs after the crash, but the results have not come back.
    
Authorities say 26-year-old Will Reid and his 25-year-old wife, Jamie, died with the limo ran off Interstate 26 on Aug. 11 and hit a tree. They were in town for a friend's wedding. The driver survived. No charges have been issued.
    
Police also asked for a search warrant to get the driver's cellphone to get possible GPS coordinates to determine the limo's speed and location and other evidence.
