UNICOI COUNTY, TN (WJHL) -

Officials with Unicoi County Schools confirm the lock down has been lifted at several schools. Unicoi County Sheriff Mike Hensley tells News Channel 11 there was a report of a robbery on Martins Creek Road near the schools, but the robbery call turned out to be a false report.

The false report triggered the lock down of Unicoi County High School, Unicoi County Middle School, Unicoi County Intermediate School, Love Chapel Elementary and CTE between 1 and 2 p.m.

Sheriff Hensley says charges will be placed on the people who filed the false robbery report.
